After several months of hard work we have delivered eight new Alpha 800 UAV Helicopters to Sky Sapience. Each Alpha 800 has an integrated gimbal-free, software only, stabilized video camera by Sightec.

Alpha’s team executed another successful demonstration in Madrid of the Alpha 800 UAV Helicopter for a new potential North African client. The Alpha 800 is being studied to use for police support. The flights were realized with the gamepad, a simple user-friendly way to fly the Alpha 800.

From Alpha Unmanned Systems we want to share with you all the latest news that have arisen during the last few weeks after the publication in several media of the recent delivery of one of our gasoline powered helicopter drones as a gift from the Minister of Agriculture of Israel, Uri Ariel, to the Russian Prime Minister, Dmitri Medvedev.

Alpha Unmanned Systems got an Experimental Airworthiness Certificate for it´s SNIPER Unmanned helicopter. This certificate issued by the INTA is a great achievement for the company, as demonstrates the maturity of the system and allow us to fly in the context of the RAPAZ Project.

The flights to be performed will be done in segregated airspace but the main difference is that instead flying always below 120 meters high and no father than 500 meters, as requires the Spainsh regulation, the flights that will be done on October will reach altitudes of 300 m AGL and distances from the GCS of 4 KM.

ALPHA was invited to participate in the RAPAZ project in early 2015, the aim of the project, organized by the Spanish Army, was to evaluate the maturity and versatility of the nacional manufactures, but at the same time to gather the needs of the different groups and agencies of the army, to finally promote a centralized acquisition of the systems that demonstrated its maturity.

Madrid-based Alpha Unmanned Systems, SL is pleased to announce that the Volcani Center of Israel has acquired two of its Sniper Helicopter Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for use in agricultural research.

This is the first sale by Alpha Unmanned Systems to a company in Israel and marks a milestone in Alpha’s international development. Israel is the most developed and competitive market in the world for UAVs, with many successful national manufacturers.
