Alpha Unmanned Systems manufacturer of unmanned systems (UAV) based in Madrid, will present its flagship product the Alpha 900 UAV helicopter at the next edition of Xponential 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Considered one of the most important events in the UAV sector in the world and a great showcase for the North American market, Xponential brings together the leading companies in the industry and this year, returns to an in-person format in which both exhibitors and the general public are expected to attend in large numbers.
AUS will bring to Orlando its newest product, the Alpha 900, a UAV helicopter designed and manufactured primarily for missions in the marine environment. With a powerful combustion engine that uses heavy fuel, it gives great autonomy (up to 4 hours) and can carry payloads of up to 4 kg. The Alpha 900 can take off and land autonomously on and from moving vessels with limited space (small deck). In addition, it is built “STANAG Compliant”, so that all critical systems are redundant. All this makes it a perfect technology for navies, coast guard and/or intelligence operations, surveillance, and search and rescue at sea.
The A900 is the result of more than 3 years of research, tests and flights based on the A800 platform, but with increased dimensions and capabilities. Its presentation has already aroused the interest of several customers, such as the Greek Navy, which in the coming months will receive five A900 systems.
Located in Madrid, Spain, Alpha Unmanned Systems S.L. is a world leader in the design and manufacture of tactical UAV helicopters. Its drones currently fly in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the United States and are used for maritime security, border control, advanced observation and surveillance. Founded in 2014, Alpha is a 100% Spanish private company.
Alpha Unmanned Systems will be located in Xponential’s Spain Pavilion booth 1621 and will be joined by founder and CEO Eric Freeman and a team of the company’s engineers and pilots. They will be happy to chat with you to give you additional information about the company and the A900.
